The dermaplaning day course will cover the following: History of dermaplaning Skin anatomy & physiology Indications for use Effectiveness of treatment Handling adverse reactions Appropriate combining of further treatment options Carrying out a Consultation Skin analysis and pre-treatment considerations Contraindications and cautions to treatment Demonstration and practical session, allowing trainees to perform treatment on two models. Safe handling of blades before, during and after treatment Safe disposal of used blades The ability to follow the protocol for preparing the client’s skin prior to treatment Entry Requirements: Anatomy & Physiology; Beauty Therapy Qualification; Basic Facials Qualification; Medical background; SPMU qualification or equivalent. *Please note it is the individuals’ responsibility to ensure they meet the course entry requirements.
